Kansas City Children's Cardiac Convalescent Center
Dr. Irene Cutter Keeling, Xi, The University of Kansas, works with Dr. Clark W. Seely and a group of community organizations to found the Children's Cardiac Convalescent Center in Kansas City, to assist children with rheumatic heart disease. Following Irene's death in 1953, collegiate and alumnae members of Xi Chapter continue to raise money to support the center.
